Turn right and drive 3.1 miles to Moses Stepp Cemetery located on left side of Route 1714.
Moses Stepp served as a Private under NC Captains Thomas Whitson & Joseph White and Colonel Charles McDowell. He also served under SC Lt John Sumpter; Captain Ross; General Sumpter.

Like Daniel Boone he was hunting new solitudes and new wildernesses.
